Flash Studios provides photography services in studio or on location by photographer Melanie Jenkins, assisted by our studio manager and set builder Mike Small.

Flash Studios provides retouching and grading services in house on their own work to ensure you receive your files ready to go.

Studio

Mel is based at the studio with a central Auckland location, offering off street carparks and ground floor access for ease of delivery and parking at the door if needed.

The studio is for the sole use of Melanie and fully stocked with Broncolor lighting for stills photography, Apurture Lighting for videography, Apple mac suite with colour corrected monitors, Phase one medium format camera equipment with Trichromatic digital back, Canon R5.

Interiors in studio and set building

Our inhouse set builder Mike will help you plan and build your set to be photographed. With Moveable flat walls, arched doorways, windows, skirting boards, wooden flooring options already in stock, Mike will also custom build any shapes or pieces required for the brief. Whether it is a set involving water, sand or just a platform that is different to the pieces we already have, just bring your ideas and drawings to him and he will work it out, cost it up, and make it happen.

Food Photography

With a full kitchen featuring 5 burner gas hob, double oven, dish drawer, fridge/freezer, microwave and fully stocked with pots and pans, the food stylists can arrive with minimal equipment to get working.
